> HealthByCounty provides health outcomes, healthcare access, and wellness data for every county in the United States. Life expectancy, insurance, and access metrics use the 2025 County Health Rankings & Roadmaps release; chronic-disease and behavioral rankings use CDC PLACES 2022–2023 measure years. Coverage includes all 3,144 U.S. counties and county equivalents.

HealthByCounty.com is part of the ByCounty Network, a platform combining government data across tax, cost of living, income, crime, health, schools, and environmental risk into county-level profiles. The flagship product is CountyScore.com, which aggregates all metrics into a single county score.

All data is free to access. Primary sources are County Health Rankings & Roadmaps and CDC PLACES.
